Showroom Appointments & Project Consultation

Exceptional results come from more than beautiful tiles — it’s the specification, planning and detailing that elevate the finish and protect the installation long-term. To deliver the level of service we’re known for, we offer two ways to work with us, depending on the level of support you’d like.

Why we work by appointment

We work by appointment so we can give you our full attention — unhurried, considered guidance tailored to your home, your lifestyle and your brief. While the showroom is designed to inspire, many of our collections are available in multiple sizes and finishes beyond what’s on display. An appointment ensures you see the right options for your project, with an expert on hand to guide you from the outset.

Option 1

Showroom Appointment

Showroom Appointment

(Complimentary | 30–60 minutes)

A guided appointment designed to help you choose with confidence. We’ll narrow the options to what genuinely suits your space — considering scale, finish, practicality and budget — and ensure you understand what’s available beyond the displays.

What’s included

  • A clear understanding of your project: rooms, style, budget, timeline
  • Suitability guidance at a high level, including:
    – wall vs floor suitability
    – bathrooms and wet areas
    – underfloor heating considerations
    – finishes, maintenance and day-to-day practicality
  • Curated selection: guided recommendations rather than endless browsing
  • Transparent pricing guidance so expectations are realistic from the outset

Next steps (two routes)

  • Quotation Route: once you confirm your final selections and provide the quantities required, we prepare your quotation.
  • Project Route: for larger ground floor areas, full renovations, or more technical projects, we recommend our Project Consultation Service — where we provide project-specific technical guidance, plan review with quantity calculation, setting-out advice, and a detailed Specification Summary.

Option 2

Project Consultation Service

Project Consultation Service

(£500 + VAT | 90 minutes — credited within 60 days)

Our full consultation and specification service for clients who want us properly involved. This includes everything in the Showroom Appointment, plus plan review, quantity calculation, setting-out guidance and project-specific installation notes — along with a written Specification Summary to bring everything together clearly.

Fee: £500 + VAT (Includes multiple hours of plan review and specification work after your appointment.)

Credit: deducted from your final order if you proceed within 60 days.

What’s included

Everything in the Showroom Appointment — plus:

Technical guidance & installation specification (tailored to your project)

We tailor our recommendations to your rooms, subfloor and installation requirements, including where relevant:

  • Underfloor heating build-up and recommissioning approach
  • Movement joints and expansion planning
  • Uncoupling / anti-fracture recommendations where appropriate
  • Correct adhesive and primer specification
  • Levelling / smoothing approach (including protecting UFH where relevant)
  • Grout recommendations (cement vs epoxy) based on usage and maintenance expectations
  • Bathroom detailing: waterproofing approach, silicone to internal corners, and edge finishing
  • Spacers and levelling systems: recommended joint widths, clip/wedge guidance and best practice to minimise lippage

Plan review + setting-out guidance (by area)

Using your floor plans, we provide setting-out guidance to support your installer and elevate the finish:

  • Recommended tile orientation and start points
  • Balanced cuts and clean sightlines
  • Thresholds and transitions between spaces
  • Feature lines and focal points (where appropriate)

(This is setting-out guidance to support your installer — it is not a CAD/set-out drawing service.)

Quantity calculation from your floor plans

  • Quantities calculated per area from your drawings (where provided as scaled information)
  • Includes a sensible allowance for cuts and wastage
  • We’ll highlight key supporting items to consider (trims, grout and adhesive) where relevant

Specification Summary + follow-up included

  • Your Specification Summary emailed after the appointment (typically within 2–3 working days)
  • Up to 2 follow-up appointments (45 minutes each) to finalise selections and quantities

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?

To ensure you receive the level of service we’re known for, we recommend booking an appointment — particularly if you’d like guidance on suitability, finishes and pricing. If you arrive without an appointment and a team member is available, we’ll always do our best to look after you.

Why is the Project Consultation Service paid?

Because it involves multiple hours of background work on our part, not just the appointment itself. We review your plans, calculate quantities, consider technical requirements (such as underfloor heating, subfloor preparation and wet areas), and then prepare your Specification Summary. The fee is a small commitment from you so we can dedicate the time properly — and if you proceed within 60 days, it’s credited against your order.

How quickly will I receive the Specification Summary?

Typically within 2–3 working days.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or request a refund. Late cancellations/no-shows may forfeit the fee due to reserved time.
